Helping my clients develop the right mindset is probably the greatest thing my clients take away from me. Afterall, having the correct mindset is the foundation that allows us to have success in anything we attempt in life and it’s the same when it comes to our health and fitness goals.
For me, my mindset towards fitness changed many years ago and is what has allowed me to be so effective when training my clients. You see, I was homeschooled until high school when I enrolled into a private school. Not having great social skills and being a naturally skinny guy, I navigated towards weightlifting to work on both my physical body that I hoped in return would help build my confidence. It wasn’t a perfect road. After trying all the supplements that promised results but never delivered, I came to a realization. I was never going to get to the level I wanted because the mindset I had was promoting unreal and unhealthy expectations.
I will be forever grateful to health and fitness and what it has taught me. I’ve learned how to be more disciplined and how to channel that discipline towards all other areas and goals in my life. That it was true health and fitness are all about, and this is why I am excited to walk this path with you.
I GET it…balancing all of life’s priorities — career, family, friendships — while trying to gain that dream body can be tough — really tough — but you don’t have to do it alone.
